With these images I wanted to explore the contrast in smooth sand and water flows from afar but when these are viewed more closely they present a much more gritty reality.

This contrast in perception is also shown in the distance between a common warm and joyful idea of a beach whereas this scenario delivers a dangerously harsh and frigid instance.
